Experimenting with low light today.

Couch 03I recently did some work with low light. As you can see my wife wasn’t exactly thrilled, but in the end it fits the mood of this imageĀ  pretty well. One reason I think she was so irritaed is, as you can see, close to bed time. And the last thing she wanted to hear after a busy day is “honey, I need a model.”

Overall I am pretty happy with this set. I did get annoyed after looking at some of them that I had failed to get some dust off my sensor, so I ended up having to get it out later in post.

A few technical details. This was shot with one 8″ pan light being difused on a white card. My lens was a 18-55mm DA Pentax lens, standard kit lens. 21mm focal length, 1.5 shutter length and aperture at f4. WB on Tungsten.
